In the scene.. I stand 8 months after the genocide in a one of the last small piece of land that does not cover 1% of the needs of the people in Gaza in light of the bombing of agricultural lands, the siege of Gaza, and the closure of the crossings.
Ps/ the little farm is in Khanyounis and it survived the bombing of the city!
The owner of the last farm that is still working in Gaza says, “The land insists on giving us, despite everything the occupation takes from it. This land is ours and we are itss.”
Behind me are the land workers who have lost everything they own in the war except their work in agriculture, and behind me are thousands of people displaced, fleeing the massacres the Israeli army is committing in their tents in Rafah.
Over our heads, the non stop buzzing of the unmanned aircraft that navigate, watch and kill us every day.
How can oppression, anger, hope, determination, death, life, joy and sadness meet in one place in the world? Yes...it is an imaginary scene. Is Gaza real?
