5:58 PM @abdalhkem_abu_riash Gratitude and respect hardly capture the essence of what I feel towards my friend and colleague, Motaz. Amidst the chaos and heartbreak in Gaza, he has been a beacon of courage, relentlessly documenting the genocide on the ground with unwavering resolve.
Motaz, your work goes beyond journalism; it’s a testament to the resilience and spirit of the people of Gaza. Your lens has brought their stories to the global stage, demanding attention and empathy from the world.
Beyond your professional prowess, your generosity knows no bounds. Hosting us when we had to move from Gaza City was a gesture of solidarity that I will never forget. Your home became our haven, allowing us to continue our mission under your protective wing.
As you embark on this next phase of your journey, taking Gaza’s voice to even greater heights, know that you carry with you the admiration, support, and gratitude of many, myself included. Your path is not an easy one, but it is noble and crucial.
Wishing you all the strength, safety, and success on this path. The world needs to hear what you have to say, and I have no doubt that you will continue to make a profound impact. Thank you, Motaz, for everything.
