1:08 PM @majdi_fathi Palestinian cameraman Mohammed Alaloul holds the shrouded body of one of his children killed in an Israeli strike on the Al-Maghazi refugee camp in Deir Balah in the central Gaza Strip, in front of al-Quds hospital in the same city on November 5, 2023. Alaloul, working for the Turkish Anadolu Agency, told AFP his 13-year-old son, Ahmed, and his four-year-old son, Qais, were killed in the bombing, along with his brother. The Hamas-run health ministry said, Israeli bombing of Al-Maghazi refugee camp killed 45 people, with an eyewitness reporting children dead and homes smashed. photo by majdi fathi 12:48 PM @majdi_fathi Palestinian cameraman Mohammed Alaloul holds the shrouded body of one of his children killed in an Israeli strike on the Al-Maghazi refugee camp in Deir Balah in the central Gaza Strip, in front of al-Quds hospital in the same city on November 5, 2023. Two densely populated homes in the Maghazi refugee camp, which the Israeli occupation claims to be safe areas, were struck by shelling, resulting in over forty casualties, most of whom were children and women. Al-Aaloul was shocked to discover the martyrdom of his children and siblings. This Palestinian journalist, who was accustomed to documenting the reality and the truth of the conflict for the world, and those before him, like Wael Dhadouh and Hazem Bin Saeed, has now become an image and an event himself, along with their families.
I have no words to offer my friends or myself as condolences. 💔 9:50 AM @abdalhkem_abu_riash Mohammed Al-Aaloul, one of the most beautiful and kind-hearted journalists you could encounter during your fieldwork in Gaza, was targeted today while he was in his field of work.
