2:02 PM @eye.on.palestine In newly released video footage Tufts University PhD student Rumeysa Ozturk is seen being detained by masked plainclothes federal agents on Tuesday night. The graduate student who is a Turkish national and in the united states on a F-1 visa, Tufts has allegedly been informed that it has now been terminated. Ozturk is a part of a growing list of people who the US government is seeking to deport for pro Palestine advocacy after she co authored an opinion piece last year on many universities being complicit in the ongoing israeli genocide whilst calling for divestment from Israeli companies. Ozturk’s attorney has not been able to contact their client whose whereabouts are currently unknown. via @mattreednews
