Palestinians in Gaza, which has suffered massive destruction in Israeli attacks with almost no intact buildings remaining, are struggling to survive amid the rubble. The police are investigating the incident.
After the incident, one of the injured Israelis, Ari Rabi, claimed on social media that he was shot at due to antisemitism. He wrote, “They tried to kill us for nationalistic reasons – my father was wearing a kippah in the car yesterday, and 12 bullets were fired at him, one of which hit me.” He continued, “My father and I are in a hospital in Miami. My father is worried and scared. We need your help—please help us, we don’t know anything.”
