4:08 PM @wahaj_bani_moufleh The Israeli military operation in Jenin refugee camp has entered its eighth consecutive day, causing massive destruction to the camp’s infrastructure. Water, electricity, communication, and sewage networks have been severely damaged, cutting off essential services almost entirely. Israeli bulldozers have continued to raze roads and demolish more homes, while others have been set on fire, exacerbating the suffering of the residents.
The intensity of the bombardment and ongoing destruction has forced approximately 80% of the camp’s residents to flee. Estimates indicate that around 3,000 families have been displaced, seeking refuge in nearby areas.
On the ground, violent clashes between Israeli forces and Palestinian resistance fighters continue in various parts of the camp. Simultaneously, the Israeli army continues its campaigns of arrests and raids, further deepening the humanitarian crisis.
So far, the operation has resulted in the deaths of 16 Palestinians, including two children, and dozens of injuries. This assault is considered one of the largest military operations the camp has witnessed in years, leaving devastating impacts on its residents and infrastructure amid international silence that has sparked anger and outrage.
