5:39 PM @hossam_shbat Dr. Hussam Abu Safiyya, Director of Kamal Adwan Hospital, issued a critical statement today detailing the ongoing bombardment that began at 1 a.m. He described severe impacts on hospital operations as shelling damaged essential areas, including the surgical building and third floor, which houses medical supplies from the World Health Organization. The attack caused a fire that destroyed water tanks and compromised the dialysis unit, while four medical staff members suffered burns attempting to extinguish the flames. Dr. Abu Safiyya appeals for immediate assistance from health organizations and calls for specialized surgical teams, critical medical supplies, blood and plasma units, and at least one ambulance to transport the injured, noting that Kamal Adwan has no operational ambulances. الدكتور حسام أبو صفية، مدير مستشفى كمال عدوان، أصدر بياناً حاسماً اليوم يصف القصف المستمر الذي بدأ في الساعة 1 صباحاً وما زال مستمراً. وصف الأضرار الكبيرة التي لحقت بعمليات المستشفى، حيث أصاب القصف مباني هامة مثل مبنى العمليات والطابق الثالث الذي يحتوي على إمدادات طبية من منظمة الصحة العالمية. تسبب الهجوم في حريق دمر خزانات المياه وألحق أضراراً بوحدة غسيل الكلى، وأصيب أربعة من الكوادر الطبية بحروق أثناء محاولتهم إطفاء النيران. ناشد الدكتور أبو صفية المنظمات الصحية لتقديم الدعم العاجل من خلال فرق طبية متخصصة، إمدادات طبية ضرورية، وحدات دم وبلازما، وسيارة إسعاف واحدة على الأقل لنقل الجرحى، مشيراً إلى أن المستشفى لا يملك أي سيارات إسعاف عاملة. 2:43 PM @hossam_shbat Dr. Munir al-Bursh, Director General of the Ministry of Health in Gaza, reported that Kamal Adwan Hospital’s third floor was targeted by Israeli occupation artillery, destroying vital medications and supplies recently brought in by a UN convoy and the World Health Organization (WHO). The attack also severely damaged the hospital’s maintenance and engineering department and rendered the oxygen station non-functional. Additionally, the dialysis station was destroyed, leaving patients without essential medical services. الدكتور منير البرش، المدير العام لوزارة الصحة في غزة، أفاد بأن الطابق الثالث في مستشفى كمال عدوان تعرض لقصف الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، مما أدى إلى تدمير أدوية وإمدادات طبية تم إدخالها مؤخرًا بواسطة قافلة للأمم المتحدة ومنظمة الصحة العالمية. كما تضرر قسم الصيانة والهندسة بشكل كبير، وأصبح محطة الأكسجين خارج الخدمة. و أيضاً إلى تدمير محطة غسيل الكلى، مما يترك المرضى دون خدمات طبية أساسية.
