11:18 AM @joegaza93 Displacement from northern #Gaza to Southern #Gaza. 9, November 2023. Under heavy bombardment, massacres and the killing of thousands in front of the world, Israel forced more than a million Palestinians living in northern #Gaza to be forcibly displaced to the south, towards the camps of the Middle of #Gaza strip, Deir al-Balah, Khan Younis and Rafah cities. Since that day when we were displaced and left our homes, our neighborhood, our city and our memories, we have become like dead bodies, bodies without a soul. It’s as if something was snatched from us and left a deep wound in us. Returning to North of Gaza has become a dream and a hope that we cling to with every new sunrise. The displacement route wasn’t not easy either. The road was fraught with danger, with tanks blocking the road and soldiers on the sides of the road, and the sounds of explosions never stopping. There were also some bodies lying in the street, and no one could do anything about them. The IOF arrested and killed dozens while passing in front of them. 300,000 Palestinians remained in North Gaza despite all the forms of death, famine, destruction , diseases and suffering they were subjected to. We owe them a lot and are grateful to them because they foiled the project of occupying and settling the north that Israel was planning. The Israeli army established a buffer zone separating the north from the south, with an area of approximately 35 square kilometers, in which the IOF destroyed all the homes and residential buildings in this area and displaced and killed all its residents. Israel has established military sites in this area where thousands of soldiers are now stationed and their mission is to kill Palestinians who are trying to return to their homes in the north and destroy everything around them. The question remains always in over one million Palestinians mind is: When will we return to our north and our homeland?
