There has been alot of obstacles and challenges preventing us from reaching Palestinians in different areas across the Gaza Strip, but the efforts never stopped.
Today, I proudly announce that after 170 days of no bakeries, we finally managed to reopen 3 bakeries in Gaza City, north of the Gaza Strip.
I went on a mission there last week with the team, talked to people, i heard horryfying stories about their struggles with starvation.
Despite the joy and relief of seeing the bakeries open, and seeing WFP parcels going to the people who need it the most, we know more needs to be done.
We still have a long way to go, to open all the bakeries in Gaza again, and to provide assistance in all the areas across Gaza where the entire population needs it.
