6:58 PM @eye.on.palestine The Israeli newspaper Haaretz reveals Israel’s crimes in the “Sde Teman” detention center, which were described by an Israeli doctor working there.
The Israeli doctor working in the prison says:
This week, two Palestinian prisoners had their legs amputated as a result of being shackled all the time.
At the beginning of the war, one of the detainees was injured because his hands were tied with plastic handcuffs for a long time, and his hand was amputated as a result of the wounds.
The hospital does not receive a regular supply of medicines and medical equipment, and all its patients are shackled on all fours, regardless of their severity, with their eyes covered and fed with straw.
Many detainees are in poor physical condition, and sometimes their wounds are exacerbated by prison conditions and lack of hygiene, while others suffer from chronic diseases.
There was not a single patient who was transferred to the hospital and stayed there for more than a few hours. Usually, patients after difficult operations such as abdominal surgeries are returned after about an hour of observation in the medical facility, which has only one doctor working most of the day.
2:15 AM @belalkh Allah says in the Quran: “Verily, those who have attained to faith and do good works, and are constant in prayer, and dispense charity – they shall have their reward with their Sustainer, and no fear need they have, and neither shall they grieve.” [Al-Baqarah, 2:277]
A remedy to overcoming despair and grief is to give charity.
When we see someone who is hungry, we should give.
When we see someone who is thirsty, we should give.
When we see someone in pain, we should give.
When we feel helpless, hopeless, or lost, we should give.
We should give, knowing that God is the best dispenser of all our affairs.
We should give, because we can turn our compassion into hope.
