8:34 PM @saleemaburass It’s been a week since Amir Abu Aisha became a martyr. Of course, over the past week, I’ve tried many times to talk about Amir, but words have never helped me express that Amir was a true hero. There were many opportunities when Amir could have left Al-Amal Hospital, but he always insisted on staying with his colleagues. Amir continued to serve people throughout the siege. When the army stormed the hospital and took our cell phones, Amir was the only one who kept his phone during the whole time we were under siege. Everyone was always in touch with Amir and kept sending photos to our families, assuring them about us. Not once did he get tired of this. Amir was just 23 and he had so many dreams. He had a lot of wishes he thought he would fulfill once the war was over. But, sadly, the occupation didn’t give him the chance. Not only did they kill Amir, they targeted him. He stayed three days before we could bury him because even after his martyrdom, we were still trapped in the hospital. Keep Amir in your prayers he deserves to spoken about forever.
