11:30 PM @hani.aburezeq Despite the state of sadness, I felt happy after I saw the new picture of the child Omar. The picture on your right is of the child Omar, who is four years old. His hand was amputated. He lost all his family members and only him was left as a result of the bombing of their house in the Nuseirat camp. I recognized him in his condition. It was difficult for him to live in Shahad Al-Aqsa Hospital. I photographed him and changed the children for travel and treatment Omar traveled for treatment two months ago, and this is the picture on your left of him in the current period. Have you seen the size of the difference? Omar is currently receiving treatment outside Gaza and he had a special prosthetic limb made for his hand. Oh God, make us among those who fulfill people’s needs and among those who strive for goodness and for every good deed, and guide us to the goodness of what You love and are pleased with
11:22 PM @malaloul Hello and Ramadan Mubarak everyone, This is Mohammed Al Aloul. Firstly, I want to thank each and every one of you for your support with my recent campaign sponsored by @OneNationUK. I was trying to make a video for you to explain the next project i am launching today, but unfortunately, I still don't have the strength to face the camera. So, I'll ask you here: This Ramadan, I want to offer you all a wonderful opportunity to join me in supporting our brothers, sisters and friends in Gaza, including my hometown Maghazi. This is our duty and they are our people. While people are starving to death from famine we have a chance to help them. We want to do something different where every single one of YOU can help Gaza too. Each one of us here can help by having our own campaign in our name and raising funds on behalf One Nation who are a UK based registered charity who have worked in Gaza for more than 10 years and have been constantly delivering aid with regular picture and video feedback since October. I have seen videos of their aid even reaching my hometown Maghazi inside Gaza. We'll create a unique campaign of £1,000 for everyone willing to help. The funds you raise will go directly to the organisation, and you'll help them gather as much donations as possible to help Gaza. All you have to do is invite your friends and family to donate to this campaign. The team at the organization will be in touch with you. If you're ready, all you need to do is write "I'm ready" below. Your contribution with us will be rewarded in your favor in the Hereafter. Let's stand up for Gaza and make a difference. #TeamAlAloul #gazagenocide you can still donate for emergency aid in Gaza by going on launchgood.com/TeamAlAloul (link in bio)
8:24 PM @abdalhkem_abu_riash ‏As the blessed month of Ramadan arrives, we welcome it with hearts full of faith and hope, despite all the pain and challenges we face. We pray to the Almighty Allah to make it a month of goodness and blessings for us all, to relieve us and beloved Gaza of distress, and for the cessation of genocide and the spreading of peace. ‏In this holy month, we raise our hands in supplication, asking Allah the Most High to restore hope in our hearts, and to enable us to return to our homes, even if they are destroyed. For with faith and reliance on Allah, we find the strength to rebuild what has been demolished. ‏Let us unite in prayer and supplication this sacred month, asking Allah to accept our fasting, our prayers, and our good deeds. May He protect our families and loved ones, grant us patience and consolation, and make Ramadan a turning point towards goodness and peace for us and for the whole world. ‏Wishing you all a blessed Ramadan. Ramadan Kareem.

8:42 AM @nooh.xp After a heroic epic in which blood was shed and lives were lost, a 25-kilo of flour was obtained, thank God. No one can imagine the extent of my happiness, after stopping eating white bread for more than three months It’s like Eid... Eid because for the first time I get a bag of flour throughout the war. We used to fast and break our fast with animal feed, and now we got white flour. Yes, it is Eid. I am not exaggerating. The simplicity of this poor young man made me cry He was suffering from hunger and knew the meaning of a loaf of bread What was considered the cheapest thing you could get in Gaza, has become worth the blood of honorable people O Lord, feed the hungry and fulfill the needs of the needy O God, O Sustainer, O Powerful One, grant Your weak servants on this earth 🤲💔 بعد ملحمة بطولية أريقت فيها الدماء وأُزهقت أرواح، تم بحمد الله الحصول على كيس طحين 25 كيلو .
6:58 AM @anat.international I often forget that writing is a medium on social media because all of my content is always video-based but I have just felt so out of steam the past 3 days so here I am, writing, since it’s a bit simpler than getting myself in front of the camera. I have so much I want to say, my brain is just spinning with things I want to shed light on including the US’ plans to construct a new port in Gaza and women’s history month, but I don’t know where to start so instead I just keep shutting down and collapsing on my bed. Also, I recently watched the Battle of Algiers, so if you’re really looking into celebrating “international women’s day”, watch that film to see how Algerian women like Zohra Drif resisted French colonialism through armed guerrilla warfare and later on through educating her fellow Algerian women in prison. I cannot believe that in 2024, we are witnessing old-school colonialism that isn’t being masked. Between 1945-1960, when decolonization movements in many nations in the Global South started to succeed, the new world order became characterized as resembling neocolonialism (i.e. Western powers controlling former colonies economically & culturally) and not so much old school colonialism (i.e. physical presence in colonies). Palestinians have always known that the US controls the world, that Israel controls the US, and that no former colony actually decolonized completely. And now, millions around the world have learned those truths from us too. I know that Palestine will prevail, just like Algeria prevailed. But the question is when? And at what cost? 🇵🇸✌🏼🇩🇿
12:57 AM @samarabuelouf A bomb killed his children. The Photojournalist Confronting the pain of others is central to the career of Mohammed al-Aloul, 36, a photojournalist who for years has framed Gaza’s strife in his viewfinder. But on Nov. 5, the pain came for him. It was etched on Mr. al-Aloul’s face as he clutched the swaddled remains of his son, killed in an Israeli airstrike. And that pain roared through him again that same day when he stood over the bodies of three of his other children who, it turned out, had died in the same attack. Falling to his knees, he wept. “God help me endure this pain,” he said. After Oct. 7, he hardly saw his own family, dashing from the scene of one bombing to another, shooting video for the Turkish state-run media agency, Anadolu. But he missed his five children badly, he said. Before the war, they would join him after work to watch soccer games on television at home, cheering and screaming “gooaal!” along with the commentators. Once fighting started, he wore his son Ahmed’s baseball cap to work. “It carried his smell,” he said. On Nov. 4, after spending a rare night at home, Mr. al-Aloul said his 6-year-old son, Kenan, had begged him not to go. But he left, and as he was documenting displaced families the following day, a friend called. There had been a strike near his home in central Gaza. What followed was a frantic blur, Mr. al-Aloul said. He scrolled through social media and called friends as fragments of news came through. Finally, at the hospital, he learned that Kenan and three of his other children — Ahmad, 13, Rahaf, 11, and Qais, 4 — were dead, as were four of his brothers and some of their children and neighbors. His wife was seriously wounded. The sole survivor among his children was his youngest son, 1-year-old Adam, whose face was lashed by shrapnel. “He’s all I have left,” Mr. al-Aloul said days later, clutching the child to his chest. Now, Mr. al-Aloul’s family is in Turkey, where his wife is undergoing treatment for her extensive wounds. Samar Abu Elouf The New York Times @samarabuelouf @nytimes
