It’s been 5 months, 150 days of horror, of injustice that the world will not be able to justify to its grandchildren,
150 days... in which corrupt and colonial governments took the opportunity to test their weapons on the bodies of our children.
For 150 days, I have been afraid of cement ceilings. I do not want to be crushed to death when a missile lands. I sleep in a tent, and I am like hundreds of thousands suffering cold at times, heat at times, and disease and hunger at other times.
150 days as we bid farewell to our loved ones and friends and said out loud together: Who's next? Where to go!
150 days and governments look at us as an opportunity for media and political show.
150 days and we live what none of you can bear to live for a day.
For 150 days we have smelled death...we see it and it follows us, and many times it leaves us to torment before it comes, sick, wounded and homeless.
In the day 150, from the bottom of my heart, I believe I will return to my life.. as we say in Arabic:
“شاء من شاء وأبى من أبى"
