With each broken plank, the burdens of providing for his family and earning his daily bread fall upon him. Uncle Naeem walks amidst shadows of darkness and pain. In the darkness of the sea, there is a lesser solitude than the darkness cast by this war upon our lives. We all walk into the unknown, seeking a miracle from Allah in its obscurity.

People are still in the North of the Gaza Strip trying to continue their daily lives despite all the terror they have been experiencing before this temporary ceasefire. I also saw people evacuating to the South. I saw houses, factories, and residential areas flattened to the ground. Israel flattened Gaza to the ground. Everyone in the South are counting the minutes to go back to the North of Gaza. These are the videos I was able to capture.
